Team Building Programs

The Ultimate Scavenger Hunt

We don't call it "The Ultimate" for nothing. It can be fully customized to incorporate your company or retreat themes. Or stick with The Hollows classic, where teams are given a camp map, along with a photo list, of items to locate on the trails and around the property.

Amazing Race Challenges

Series of challenges. Teams participate in a variety of fun camp-based activities that require working together as a team with: the Trolley-walker, dizzy sticks & water balloon toss relays, the Tug of War, and giant soccer ball games, are just some of these fun and dynamic activities.

Fictional Lands Olympics

Ideal for larger groups, teams are organized under fictional countries (i.e. Freedonia, Grand Fenwick) in order to compete in various sports and games using all the camp facilities. Multi land and water-based competitions take place and are scored. Encourages team work and team spirit.

Kind Words for The Hollows

From the beautiful surroundings to the fantastic facilities, everything was just perfect. Your team was so kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It's clear that you all put a lot of heart into what you do, and it truly made our experience unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to hold our event, and we’re so grateful for all the effort you put in to make it special. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories. Looking forward to the next time we can be at Hollows Camp!

T. Ponjani, Owner, Taranee Fitness, 2024

Our staff had a fabulous day at Hollows Camp in June of 2024. It was a great team building experience. Janet and Stephen are extremely kind and have the most beautiful property. Our staff had a wonderful time engaging in games, ax throwing, archery, canoeing and making nature crafts. The day ended with a delicious sit-down dinner outdoors. They had plenty of tents and an indoor area, but we were prepared and did not let the rain stop us from having some fun! I highly recommend this venue for your group if you’re looking to get out of the city and enjoy a day in a country setting.

K. Cullen, ED, Bradford Progressive Child Care Centres, 2024

We recently hosted our company’s annual Employee Appreciation Day at The Hollows Camp, and it was nothing short of amazing! The day kicked off with an exhilarating Amazing Race challenge in the morning, which was expertly organized and brought out the competitive spirit in everyone. It was a great team-building activity that got everyone energized for the day ahead. In the afternoon, there was an incredible range of activities to enjoy at our own pace. From axe throwing and archery to boating on the lake, volleyball matches, and even arts & crafts—there was something for everyone, no matter their interests. The variety and freedom to explore each activity made it easy for everyone to have a fantastic time. The entertainment was just as impressive. A live DJ kept the energy high throughout the afternoon, while the bartending service made sure everyone was well taken care of in the evening. To top it all off, we ended the night gathered around a cozy campfire (with smores!)—such a perfect way to wind down and reflect on the day. The food was another highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The team accommodated all dietary restrictions seamlessly, and there was plenty of variety to satisfy everyone. A huge thank you to The Hollows Camp team for making this day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience for our event!

t's been great working with you - from booking the event to figuring out all the details to the day of the event - thanks so much for all your hard work and dedication. I believe we will have many more events at the camp next year ... This will definitely be one of my top picks for summer events.

Roy Wainer | CEO | Townish, 2023

The team has spoken, The Hollows Camp is amazing! We will be booking here for our annual retreat until we are too big which we hope is never!

Fiorella Rojas Jaramillo | Office Manager | Think Data Works, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020

The Hollows is so beautiful! We loved our team building day! The employee's favorite part was the opportunity to meet new people within their department. When you're behind a computer screen all day it's nice to get outside for the day. Great food, team building, and friendly staff.

Emina Begovic | Senior Financial Analyst | Canadian Tire Corporate, 2019

The Hollows Camp! Thanks again for a great experience...the team can't stop talking about it!

Laura Cutsey | Senior Director Marketing | Coca-Cola Canada, 2019

The whole Hollows team were SO accommodating. We had a big event and they were there to help from start to finish. They made the planning process really easy and were quick to answer all our questions. They were very punctual with the daily agenda for our guests and we LOVED the home-cooked meals. We would definitely plan something here again!

Stephanie Vu | National Marketing Manager | Red Bull Canada, 2019

We booked The Hollows Camp as a location for a video shoot and I could not have been happier with it. The location is absolutely beautiful and relaxing, it truly was impossible to get stressed with work there. Veronica is very responsive and helpful, she made it very easy to organize everything. On the day Janet and Stephen were great hosts, showing us around and making sure we had everything we needed. They went out of their way to help us set up a campfire and even gave us a few rides on their golf cart! The whole crew was so happy and wished that we could have sated for the whole weekend. I would love to come here again for work or (ideally) a holiday!

Iva Golubovic | Head of Production | Mad Ruk Entertainment, 2018

We had an absolute blast playing paintball at The Hollows Camp! The staff and facilities were amazing and made sure that our whole office had the best time. We cannot wait to come back!

Are there showers and toilets at camp?

Located next to the main camp building is the Hollows washhouse. Each cabin section has 2 to 3 portable restroom units and hand washing stations. Elegance trailer washroom is available for an extra charge.

The Hollows is located on an 87-acre nature preserve. During the summer months there are mosquitos in the evening, but nothing a little bug repellent can’t sort out.

Guests are welcome to bring snacks to camp. All food and snacks must be kept in a sealable container in the main dining hall or in the open access frig and freezer.
